Cong leader alleges long power cuts

UDHAMPUR, June 9: On the third consecutive day, a dharna was held under the leadership of senior Congress leader Sumeet Magotra against the huge power cut and reached Indira Chowk Udhampur in the form of a procession from the picket site and demonstrated vigorously against the government and the JKUT administration.
Congress leaders and workers besides locals of the area joined the protest. Magotra warned the government to provide adequate supply of power and stop long and unscheduled power cuts. He said if the issue was not resolved till Sunday, then from Monday they will sit on indefinite hunger strike at Indira Chowk in the town along with other party members.
