Cong leader asks Mushroom unit holder to follow norms

JAMMU, July 10: Working President District Congress Committee Udhampur Sumeet Magotra along with Congress activists visited Pathi village of Udhampur West Constituency. A large number of local people were present and disclosed that they are facing in inconvenient due to the establishment of Mashroom factory in their village.
Ex Panch of the area disclosed that during the establishment of this unit required norms were not followed resulting into problems. He also disclosed that owner of the Mashroom unit is taking water for his unit from the only natural source of water old Bawali by using electric motor. He again said that the chemical waste of the unit is also thrown in open nallah.
While addressing the gathering, Sumeet Magotra expressed that the establishment of this unit is not a problem and this unit is also providing employment to the unemployed youth but its owner should also follow the required norms.
He said that owner of Mashroom unit has to follow the norms in public interest if within a week time he is unable to follow the required norms then he will lodge a complaint in the pollution department. In this occasion J&K PardeshCongress General Secretary in charge Udhampur District Balbir Singh and Congress Senior leader Om Parkash were also accompanied with Magotra.
