Cong leader tours Gurha Slathian

VIJAYPUR, Oct 6: Senior Congress leader and PCC member  Arun Sharma conducted an extensive tour of Gurha Slathian,  largest village of  Vijaypur constituency as well as the State.
He visited  Mandi Garh, Mandi Udh, Mandi Rajgarh, Mandi Gharota and addressed a  series of meetings with people and prominent locals.
The villagers  discussed several issues regarding Congress party candidate as well as past and  present situation. They highlighted the local issues, such as employment to the local youth, setting up of Industries  and RBA status to Kandi villages, including Gurha Slathian.
Several senior workers rued that the party was not taking care of the Congress loyalists, who have remained faithful to the party.
Mr  Sharma extended his full support to the villagers’ demand for RBA status to Kandi belt and assured that he would take up the matter with the party high command for including this in the Congress manifesto.
Appealing people to  vote and support Congress party, Arun Sharma predicted that the party would form next Government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own and Ghulam Nabi Azad will  be the next Chief Minister of  the State.
Prominent among those, with whom Arun Sharma interacted, included Sujan Singh, (Sr vice president District Congress),  Charanjit Singh (general secretary Distt Congress ), Davinder Singh, Darbar Singh, Bishamber Singh, Shivdev Singh, Karan Singh, Rajesh, Bittu Slathia and  Balbir Singh.
