Cong leader tours Kandi villages

SAMBA, Sept 25: Congress leader and member PCC, Arun Sharma conducted an extensive tour of Kandi villages under Vijaypur Assembly constituency and addressed a series of public meetings at Gurha, Badwal, Baguna, Raya, Patti and Ranjari.
During the tour, people apprised the Congress leader of various local problems like dilapidated condition of roads, irregular supply of electricity, drinking water and ration. They demanded induction of names in BPL list, Labour Cards under MGNREGA, special recruitment drive for the area and RBA status to Kandi belt.
While addressing the people, Arun Sharma assured to take up their demands and other issues before the concerned authorities for positive consideration. He claimed that the Congress party was committed for inclusive growth of the State, particularly down trodden and backward sections of the society.
During the two-day tour, Arun was accompanied by several other Congress leaders, including Rajesh Kumar, Baisakhi Ram, Ajay Kumar, Gulshan Lal, Satish Dubey, Gian Chand, Rampal, Bashir Ahmed and S Onkar Singh
