REASI, July 21: Teenaged son of District Congress general secretary today attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house, here today.
The youth namely Sadaf (18), son of Tariq Bhat, was found unconscious by the family members who shifted him to District Hospital Reasi where doctors repeatedly washed his stomach. Later, he was referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
Sadaf is a student of Polytechnic and his father Tariq Bhat is general secretary of the District Congress.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while police have registered a case in this connection.
