AKHNOOR, Mar 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee’s working president and former Minister Raman Bhalla, working president and former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, former Chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation and state Congress committee general secretary Satish Sharma, Sandeep Dogra along with some other senior leaders visited the house of Jammu and Kashmir Police jawan Jagveer Chaudhary, who was martyred in Kathua terror attack, at Mattoo village to express their condolence and share their grief.
The Congress leaders expressed their condolences and said that they were with the family in this hour of grief. They said that the Government should take more steps to strengthen the security system so that such incidents can be stopped in the future.
They said that when a young son of a family is killed, that family is shattered and then it takes decades to recover again.
Tara Chand and Bhalla spent some time with the grieved family and assured every possible support from the Congress leadership and the party. They urged the Government to ensure better support to the family of the martyr, Jagveer Chaudhary.
