SRINAGAR, Oct 5: Taking a serious note over today’s ruckus by the opposition parties in both the Houses of the State Legislature, the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) advocate Vibodh Gupta criticized Congress and National Conference (NC) for becoming hurdle in Government’s functioning which is sincerely doing its work to minimize the sufferings of general public.
While talking to reporters outside Legislative Assembly, Gupta targeted both the opposition parties for making hue-and-cry over the issues which are self-contradictory and baseless. He also blamed that both the parties for shedding crocodile tears as they are hell-bent to misguide the people over their misdeeds which they had committed when they were in power during the previous Coalition Government.
Vibodh said that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is doing a large amount of efforts to attract the attention of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP)-led Central Government to pay special attention towards the State which has faced much turmoil in the past. Moreover, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shown keen interest in the development of the State and it is a right time for the State Government to en cash the maximum benefits for the upliftment of the State, he added. He also reminded both the opposition parties that it was due to their failures and hoodwinking approach that the people of the State had rejected them and gave a chance to BJP to rule the State by making them victorious in the last Assembly elections with majority vote share.
