DODA, June 19: Chief of National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh dubbed Congress-National Conference (NC) alliance as opportunistic having no respect for human rights.
He said this while addressing a gathering, during the ongoing Chetna Abhiyan, which entered Bhaderwah via Chhatargala today.
Prof Bhim Singh said that Congress has been playing the role of stooges of National Conference only to share power to legalise their loot and corruption.
He said that Chetna Abhiyan has been launched to create awareness among the people of Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir about their basic, human, economic and political rights which remained denied to them for 60 years under the dynastic rule in J&K.
Prof Singh expressed his gratitude for party workers’ proposal inviting him to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Udhampur constituency.
Earlier, Panthers Party workers at Bani led by Rakesh Kumar, Advocate, district general secretary and block president, Sushil Kumar received the Panthers Party team led by Prof Bhim Singh.
NPP Chief was accompanied by other members of the team including Yashpaul Kundal, MLA, Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC, PK Ganjoo, vice president, Anita Thakur, HC Jalmeria, Faqir Nath, ex-MLA, Provincial President, Bansi Lal Sharma, Advisor, District President, Jagdev, Shanker Singh, Secretary, Panthers Kisan Council, Neelam Abrol, Secretary, Women Wing, Meenakshi, District President Women Wing, Zia Lal Verma, Provincial General Secretary, Ravinder Singh Bileoria, State secretary, Young Panthers, Balwinder Singh Jamwal, General Secretary, district Kathua.
The Panthers Party took a procession in the narrow streets in the hill town of Bani.
