JAMMU, Sept 13: Former Minister and senior vice president of JKPCC Mula Ram today said that Congress and National Conference will form coalition Government in the Jammu and Kashmir.
In an impressive rally held in the Phallain Mandal zone of the Marh constituency, senior Congress leader and contesting candidate, Mula Ram voiced the concerns of the local populace, highlighting the neglect faced under the BJP Government. He emphasized that the Phallain Mandal area has been utterly ignored by the BJP, leading to widespread dissatisfaction among the people. He pointed out that wherever one goes, there is growing discontent with the BJP’s failure to deliver on its promises.
Mula Ram expressed confidence in the people’s desire for change, noting that Congress meetings in the region are witnessing large turnouts. “The enthusiasm for the Congress and National Conference (NC) alliance is clear, as people are fed up with the false promises and hollow slogans of the BJP,” he said.
“The Congress-NC alliance is determined to address critical issues that have plagued Jammu and Kashmir under BJP rule, with a focus on smart meters, Statehood, unemployment, safeguarding state laws, fighting corruption, and tackling the drug mafia,” Mula Ram asserted
He reiterated the Congress and NC alliance’s commitment to restoring Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, which was stripped away by the BJP in a move that continues to hurt the sentiments of the people.
“The people of J&K deserve to have their Statehood restored, along with their pride and dignity. Under the INDI Alliance, we will work tirelessly to ensure that the aspirations of the people are met. Unemployment, which has skyrocketed under BJP rule, will also be a top priority for the Congress-NC alliance,” he added..
The rally was also attended by Saudagar Singh Saini, Khajura Ram, Baru Bhagat, Bishen Dass, Darshan Lal, Rattan Lal Sharma, Jeet Choudhary, Sarsa Ram, Sahil Ram and Labba Ram.
