JAMMU, Jan 24: The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, OBC Department paid tribute to Late Karpuri Thakur on his 100th birth anniversary at Congress office here today.
The event, presided over by Madan Lal Chalotra, Chairman of the OBC Department, provided a platform for meaningful discussion on the lasting legacy of Late Karpuri Thakur and his unwavering dedication to the marginalized sections of society.
Chalotra emphasized that Jan Nayak Karpuri Thakur always fought for the upliftment of the poor, deprived, underprivileged, and backward communities. He highlighted the party’s commitment to inclusivity, social justice, and the principles embodied by Jan Nayak Karpuri Thakur.
Darshan Mehra, State coordinator of the OBC Cell expressed gratitude to the attendees for their active participation in the program. Amit Mehra, coordinator emphasized the importance of unity in advancing the shared goals of the Congress in J&K.
