JAMMU, June 22: Uday Bhanu Chib, former Youth Congress president J&K and currently the National general secretary of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and Hari Singh Chib, vice president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today highlighted the problems being faced by the general public under the present administration.
The senior Congress leaders were speaking in meeting of party workers at Barnai Ward No 65. They highlighted the failures of the present administration in providing basic amenities to the people of Jammu region. Cong leaders pointed out the severe issues faced by the people, including the lack of regular power and water supply during the peak summer months.
They said despite the installation of Smart Meters and the payment of substantial electricity bills, people have been compelled to live a miserable life, frequently protesting on the roads for the regular supply of power and drinking water.
Uday Bhanu and Hari Singh Chib emphasizing the ongoing struggles faced by the people. They pointed out that the public has been compelled to take to the streets in protest, demanding regular supplies of power and drinking water. The leaders urged the citizens to bolster the efforts of Rahul Gandhi by supporting the Congress Party in the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Uday said that the present administration has repeatedly failed to meet the basic needs of people. It is time for a change, and the Congress Party is the only viable option to bring about the necessary improvements and ensure a better quality of life for the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
He called for unity and collective action to bring about change. “We must come together to challenge this administration’s incompetence and work towards a Government that prioritizes the well-being of its people. The Congress party stands ready to lead this charge for a better, more just India.”
Senior members Ganesh Raj Bangotra, Sewa Dass Digra, Hans Raj Hans, Mohan Lal Hans, Bhan Singh Manhas, Somnath, Parshotam Singh, Rampal, Capt Khusi Ram, Laxman Singh, Shyam Panch, Parshotam Kumar, Raspal Singh, Bhan Singh Manhas and others were also present.
