JAMMU, May 1: Lambasting dynastic parties including Congress, BJP national general secretary and Incharge J&K, Tarun Chugh today alleged that the dynasts who ruled at Centre and erstwhile State for decades together of J&K have put Kashmir on fire.
Talking to a media channel today, Chugh held these parties responsible for the mass exodus of minority Kashmiri Pandits from Valley whose hundreds of members were killed by terrorists and these parties despite being in Government were looking as mute spectators. Chugh said it is unfortunate that those people whose hands are soaked in the blood of innocent KPs in Valley are now seeking the vote on the name of separatist leader, Yasin Malik by exhibiting his photo. He said it is that Congress which gave red carpet welcome to separatists including Yasin Malik during its rule.
Launching a scathing attack on opposition parties (INDI Alliance), Chugh said at various places they term gangsters as national heros and seek vote on their name which is totally unfortunate. “It is catastrophic that Congress has stooped such a low level for vote bank politics. It is they who have fielded Kanaihya Kumar of Tukde Tukde Gang and the advocate of dreaded Pak terrorist, Kasab who was responsible for Mumbai attack,” he added.
Exuding confidence that the people of this country will give a befitting reply to opposition parties through ballot, Chugh said the wrong narratives being created by them will have no takers in entire country. “How can people tolerate the fielding of protagonists of Tukde Tukde Gang or those who advocated for innocence of Kasab a dreaded terrorist who attacked the country’s unity and integrity?” Chugh asked.
Not sparing the senior Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi and his party on granting reservations to Muslims, he alleged that Congress is hatching a conspiracy to snatch the reservations of Scheduled Castes (SCs) Scheduled Tribes (STs) and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) by giving it to Muslims. He alleged that Congress has always done the politics of appeasement and did nothing for the poor people of the country during its over six decades rule.
He said on the other hand the Narendra Modi Government in last 10 years of rule took many out of box decisions for the benefit and upliftment of poor people of the country. During last 10 years, Modi brought 25 crore people above poverty line, constructed toilets for 11 crore poor people in the country, gave water connections to 14 crore poor people of the nation, brought 35 crore people under medical insurance cover through Ayushman Bharat and constructed four crore houses for poor people of the country.
Chugh said making pacca houses a reality for all poor people in the country, Modi Government in next five years will construct more three crore such houses for people across the country which shows BJP’s commitment for the upliftment of poor and down-trodden. He said the Congress exploited poor people during four decades after giving hollow slogan of poverty eradication from the country. The party Government never sincerely worked for betterment of poor and downtrodden people, but exploited their sentiments through catchy slogans, he added.
He said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is fighting a decisive battle for betterment of the poor so that they too can lead a happy and dignified life while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is misleading people with his statements and spreading canards in the country.
He also took a serious note of a senior Congress party leader and former Minister for his reported statement of linking electoral battle with Jehad and alleged this way they are trying to create fear psychosis among the people of the country.
Chugh also accused Congress of insulting Sanatan Dharma for vote politics and appeasement of minorities. Sometimes they give misleading statements on Ram Mandir and sometimes on Hindu deities, he added.
Ridiculing the Samajwadi Party, chief, Akhilesh Yadav’s statement that BJP is a communal party which is spreading hatred in the country, the party general secretary said “It was his (Akhilesh’s) late father Mulayam Singh Yadav who made the land of Ayodhya red with the blood of Karsevaks. Will the party whose hands are soaked in the blood of Karsevaks give sermons to the BJP which is strictly abiding by the Party’s Mantra, justice to all and appeasement to none”, Chugh said adding the parties creating a false narrative will be given befitting reply by the people through ballot.
