JAMMU, Mar 17: BJP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat and State president Jugal Kishore Sharma today urged the people of Jammu to inflict a crushing defeat on divisive and anti-people parties like Congress, NC and PDP and vote for BJP which stands for development, people’s democracy, national unity and empowerment of all sections of society and regions of the country.
Jugal Kishore Sharma stated this while addressing meetings across the Jammu West Assembly constituency during a road show on Monday. He said that while the Congress has been compromising the Indian position on Jammu & Kashmir and pondering to communal and separatist forces in the Valley, its alliance partner NC has been demanding semi-independence from India and undermining the institution of the Army and other democratic, political and economic institutions in the State.
He said it is disturbing that the so-called secular formations like Congress, NC and PDP are putting forth unsettling solutions to the so-called Kashmir problem. “The election time is an opportunity to focus on democratic and economic issues, but Congress, NC and PDP are raking up emotive issues to create divisions in the society and create problems for the country in Kashmir,” he said
“A sense of dissatisfaction and frustration has gripped the people of the State. The NC-Congress coalition has wasted more than five years on non-issues. There is unrest in the entire State. Corruption is deep rooted in the State and ruling coalition has further promoted this evil. The result is that the general public is facing difficulties in getting their work done, he added.
He said many hostile forces have become very active to prevent Narendra Modi’s democratic march towards New Delhi so that they could play nefarious game as before. He expressed the hope that the people of Jammu would recognize the ground realities and vote overwhelmingly for the BJP.

BJP Mahila Morcha leaders and activists under Morcha State President Priya Sethi had assembled at Kachi Chawni Chowk where Jugal Kishore Sharma and others were garlanded amid slogans in favour of BJP and Narendra Modi.
Similar, receptions were accorded at over two dozen places in entire Jammu West constituency.
