Cong reorganizes Committee of Ward No 6 of Jammu East

JAMMU, May 1: The District Congress Committee (DCC), Jammu Urban today held a meeting at Gujjar Nagar, Ward No 6, Jammu, where the Ward Committee was reorganized.
The meeting was conducted in the leadership of Anil Chopra, president, DCC, Jammu Urban, where Vikram Malhotra, general secretary, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), was the chief guest.
In the meeting, Makbool Ahmed, son of Late Nek Mohammad, senior Congress leader, was appointed as president, Ward No 6, DCC, Jammu Urban.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra expressed serious concern over growing discontent among the general public as a result of betrayal of PDP-BJP alliance partners on various pretexts.
He flayed both PDP and BJP for betraying their electorates by forging an unholy alliance in the State merely for the lust of power.
The Congress leader called upon the people to remain vigilant to the prevailing political situation in the State and urged them to strengthen the Congress party for betterment of Jammu and Kashmir. He urged upon the party workers to remain united and work for the general good of the society.
Anil Chopra, president, DCC, Jammu Urban, while speaking on the occasion, urged both PDP and BJP to honour the mandate of the people and work for their betterment.
