Cong seeks suggestions from Bar, JCCI, PCJ for manifesto

JAMMU, Aug 14: Congress Party has sought suggestions from the Bar Association Jammu, the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Press Club of Jammu for the party manifesto.
A party spokesman said that they have written to different organizations and invited suggestions for the party manifesto from Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Bar Association Jammu and Press Club of Jammu besides several other organizations.
In separate letters to the president, Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Arun Gupta, president Bar Association Jammu, Vikram Sharma and president Press Club, Jammu Sanjeev Pargal, the party’s senior vice president and chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma who is also Co-chairman of Manifesto Committee for Jammu, has requested them to forward their suggestions at the earliest.
Sharma has said that Committee has contacted several stake holders and other sections and received suggestions regarding issues of general public for the party manifesto.
The Committee shall finalize its report shortly for preparing the party manifesto for the J&K Assembly elections at the earliest, he added.
