JAMMU, Oct 26: J&K Congress president Tariq Hamid Karra today visited the family of Shashi Abrol, a victim of the recent terror attack in Ganderbal that left seven people, including a doctor, dead.
Karra was accompanied by senior party leaders including Yogesh Sawhney, Taranjit Singh Tony, and Manmohan Singh Pinka.
During the visit, Karra and the Congress leaders expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and condemned the act of violence in the strongest terms.
“The loss of innocent lives is a heinous crime that cannot be tolerated. We stand firmly with the families of the victims during this difficult time and will ensure they receive all possible support,” Karra stated.
The Congress delegation emphasized the need for a united stance against terrorism and underscored the importance of maintaining peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
Taranjit Singh Tony reiterated the party’s commitment to intensify its stand against terrorism, urging the administration to implement stringent measures to prevent such tragedies and deliver justice to the affected families.
The leaders assured the family of Shashi Abrol that the Congress party would extend all possible support to help them navigate through this tragic period.
