JAMMU, Dec 21: BJP State general secretary, Dr. Narinder Singh today alleged that Congress is taking U-turn and its efforts to burn the nation on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is only limited to its power hunger. Addressing party meeting at BJP headquarters at Trikuta Nagar here, today he prompted party leaders to counter the misinformation campaign launched by Congress forcefully.
The meeting was attended by BJP State spokespersons, Balbir Ram Rattan and Ashwani Chrungoo and party State press secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra.
Dr. Narinder Singh, observed that there is an ongoing sinister campaign by Congress, Left and certain other parties only to misled the gullible population. He alleged that many protestors are genuinely not aware about the Act and they have been misled by giving wrong information. He pointed out that there is high need to counter the misinformation campaign and put right facts before masses.
Taking strong exception to the violent protests organized by Congress, Left and other such opportunistic parties, Dr. Narinder Singh, said that they are hell bent to destroy nation. He alleged that these parties have nothing to do with any community; they only want to build their own castles over corpses of innocent people.
Dr. Singh, said that this Act acts to protect minorities as a part of goodwill gesture. But, alas, Congress, Left and their sister concerns seem least bothered about the lives of those in need but are mad in their lust for power. He said that this law does not gift Citizenship to anyone, but works as life saving for religiously persecuted minorities of neighbouring non-secular nations.
Dr. Singh, said that in 1947, top Congress leaders assured these minorities that they are welcome to India at any point of time, if they feel insecure in those nations. He said that many present senior Congress leaders have voiced their concerns for the safety of minorities in these nations, and now, U-turn of Congress is really a matter of shame.
