JAMMU, Mar 21: JKPCC working president, Raman Bhalla today claimed that party recognizes the hard work of grass-root workers who alone can take party achievements and programmes to the people and bring the party back to power to serve the masses.
He was interacting with prominent persons of various areas of RS Pura constituency as a part of his mass contact programme to mobilize public opinion against BJP’s wrong policies and programmes. He said that Congress is only political force in the country consistently playing role of healthy opposition to highlight the issues of each section and opposing anti-poor, anti-farmers and anti- people policies of BJP. He claimed that Congress would emerge as single largest party in next elections in J&K.
Bhalla said that his biggest responsibility is to convey the message of his party to every nook and corner of J&K and to counter negative propaganda by responding to what Congress has done in the last 70 years. “We are ready to debunk the misinformation concerning the party and work towards conveying the truth. We want to convey what Congress stands for and detail our works. The main motive of the BJP is to criticize you by abusing on social media and try to test your temperament and silence you, something which we should understand,” Bhalla added.
JKPCC leader further said that Congress is like a sea, there is no end to it and it is not something that will sink. When opportunity comes, we will bounce back. Congress has always opposed to the laws which target one particular community. We have been following the constitution and we have preserved it for 70 years.
Bhalla further said that people are fed up with BJP’s poor performance and wrong policies, for which there is strong wave of change in Jammu, who look towards Congress as only viable alternative. BJP has vitiated the atmosphere of peace, harmony and progress and downgraded the historical State against the wishes of people. Only Congress can restore peace, harmony, progress especially the lost status and dignity of the J&K people, he claimed.
