SRINAGAR, May 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee president Vikar Rasool Wani today said that Karnataka landslide victory of Congress is a defeat of hate and divisive politics of BJP.
He said the saffron party is set to face subsequent defeats in other States and in forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections as the Nation is yearning for the change.
Wani made these remarks during a function at Party office here today while welcoming hundreds of Panchs, Sarpanchs and prominent leaders from Central Kashmir into Congress party terming it an outcome of Congress Party’s struggle to safeguard the rights of the people irrespective of their region and religion.
PCC chief said people believe while having full faith under the Congress party’s pro-people policies and appreciate strenuous efforts of the Congress to ensure safety, equal treatment justice to people. Despite the BJP’s malicious propaganda unleashed for the lust of power, Congress party and the people of the country in unison shall continue to work harder to defeat BJP’s mis-adventures and other conspiracies aiming to divide people on religion, caste and regional lines for the lust of power, Wani added.
BJP faced a humiliating defeat in Karnataka elections, it is set to witness same situation in other election bound state and in forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections as the Nation is yearning for the change after realizing that BJP Govt has failed people on all counts, Wani said and added that the time has come when BJP will be wiped out after facing defeat to its fullest given their anti-people policies and politics of hate and division.
Wani said Karnataka has shown that hate and divisive politics is not acceptable to the Nation rather the development and prosperity for which Congress party is struggling shall continue to remain most significant in this diverse country.
Former JKPCC president Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, Ex-MLC GN Monga, senior leader Abdul Gani and various others were present on the occasion.
