Cong vows to tackle unemployment issue

SRINAGAR, Mar 9: Senior vice president of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Ghulam Nabi Monga today underscored the party’s commitment to address unemployment issue as a top priority once in power.
Talking to media-persons after a meeting at Party office here today, Monga said Congress promises to tackle the issue head-on, the Congress plans to create 30 lakh job opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir while referring to five guarantees assured by Rahul Gandhi during his ongoing ‘Bharat Jodo Nayay Yatra’.
The party aims to support graduates and diploma holders by providing them with an annual stipend of one lakh. Monga also emphasized the need for increased transparency in Government processes, particularly in light of recent paper leaking incidents, and vowed to implement stringent laws to ensure fairness in all Government exams.
Highlighting Congress Party’s strong foothold in Jammu and Kashmir, Monga reiterated the party’s track record of success in both Assembly and Parliamentary elections. He acknowledged that at times, the Congress has formed coalitions with other parties, but stressed that their focus has always been on the development of the Union Territory of J&K.
With these pledges and commitments, Monga expressed confidence in the Congress’ ability to address the pressing issues and to lead the country towards a brighter future.
