JAMMU, Nov 25: JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla today said that Congress party will continue to oppose BJP Govt for rising unemployment, economic crisis, lack of development and also expose the saffron party’s false promises and betrayals.
While interacting with aggrieved people of Bahu constituency, here today, Bhalla rued that people in the country, especially Jammu and Kashmir are confronted with the ugliest situation due to the policies adopted by Modi Govt, but the Congress as a responsible and constructive opposition shall make the BJP Govt accountable and answerable to people for betrayal and failing them on all counts.
Bhalla alleged that BJP has made J&K a Laboratory where it is doing experiments from time to time to serve its vested political interests while abandoning people of their democratic rights after snatching everything they had.
“After realizing that it has failed to achieve what it had expected after 5 August 2019, several drives were started to divert the attention of the people from real issues, matter of the fact remains, people won’t change their opinion and never forgive BJP for what it has done in J&K,” he added.
Bhalla claimed that the Congress alone has served the people to the best of their ability and the party feels duty bound to the wellbeing of the people in J&K. He said Congress has always taken care of urges and aspiration of every section of the erstwhile State and it will continue to safeguard their interests. “Congress will become number one party in J&K in the upcoming elections. Winds of change are sweeping throughout J&K. More and more people are aligning with us to take the message of love and prosperity forward,” Bhalla said.
Bhalla said history is witness that the Congress Party made all out efforts to percolate the sense of responsibility, significance of the unity, sacredness of democratic values and its institutions as well as the sanctity of the constitution down to the grassroots level. The democracy in this country grew stronger by days due to the untiring efforts of the Congress Party. And today if the Indian democracy is looked up to for emulation, the credit goes to the Congress, he added.
