UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: During Ghulam Nabi Azad’s visit to Udhampur, a deputation of Congress leaders and workers met him at Dak Bungalow here and submitted a memorandum highlighting public grievances.
The main demands in the memorandum, included upgradation of District Hospital Udhampur, with all required facilities, regularization of National Youth Corps, job reservation for locals in MES, etc.
The deputation also extended an invitation to Mr Azad for addressing a public meeting in Udhampur.
The deputation comprised of MLC Jugal Kishore, Brij Mohan Sharma, Syed Shakeel Shah, Geeta Khajuria, Om Parkash Magotra, Sham Lal Samnotra, Tarro Devi, Sumeet Mangotra, Vinod Khajuria, Anant Ram, Dharam Chand, Sher Singh, Shri Raj, Rajesh Gupta, Yash Pal, Savitri Devi, Rani Begum, Ishar Dass and Ramesh Sadotra.
