Congmen hail re-appointment of Prof Soz as PCC president

JAMMU, Apr 5: The re-appointment of Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz as president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has been widely welcomed by the senior leaders and the rank and file of the party in the State.
A meeting of the senior leaders of the PCC was held here today at PCC HQ in which a resolution was passed expressing gratitude to the Congress high command for re-appointing Prof Soz as PCC president in view of his distinguished services to the party and capabilities to lead the organization.
Observing  that Prof Soz  successfully led the party and strengthened the organization in all three regions of the State, the resolution also thanked Congress president  Sonia Gandhi and vice president  Rahul Gandhi for giving second term to the incumbent PCC chief.
The meeting was presided over by senior vice president Dharam Pal Sharma and attended by Mohd Muzaffar Parrey (MLC), Th Hari Singh, G N Monga (MLC), Prem Sagar Aziz, Mula Ram, R S Chib, Ravinder Sharma (MLC), Kanta Bhan, S R  Sudheer, Prakash Sharma, Bharat Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Pradeep Parihar, Hari Singh Chib, Ashwani Puri, Ravi Singh Slathia, Narinder Gupta, Sanjay Sawhney, Amit Chib, Dr Kamal Singh, Shashi Sharma,  Aihsan Malik, A G  Kohli, Tallanter Singh, Kapil Singh Sanjeev Sharma, Ch  Shahnawaz Khan, Pankaj Basotra,   D S  Langeh, B B  Gupta, Mian Nazir Ahmed, V K  Sethi, Vijay Sharma, Om Prakash. J K  Koul, Pawan Sharma, Praveen Singh, Amrit Bali, Rashpal Singh, Gopal Sharma, Harjit Singh Bagi and others.
In connection with the reappointment  of Prof Saifuddin Soz as president Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), a function was organized under the leadership of Chawdhary Inam Hafiz  at Gujjar Mandi here today.
Similar meetings were held at various district and block levels.
Meanwhile, Prof Soz is arriving here tomorrow by Indian Airlines flight at 12.15 pm. The PCC and frontal units have made arrangement for his reception outside airport and thereafter he will arrive at PCC HQ Jammu where DCC and other workers will receive him.
