Congress asks Govt to ensure ration supply to Kashmiri Migrants

JAMMU, Apr 24: Ghulam Ahmed Mir, former Minister and president, J&K PCC has lashed out at State Government for its failure to provide ration to Kashmiri Migrants, so far, causing great hardship to them.
Mir said that several deputations of Kashmiri Migrants have apprised him that Government has failed to provide ration whereas in the past it used to be supplied well in time. The ration for the month of April has yet to be issued to them.
He said that majority of Kashmiri migrants belonging to poor lot are facing great hardship due to indifferent attitude of present dispensation towards them. He said that the BJP sheds crocodile tears to the cause of Kashmiri Migrants but has failed to ensure timely supply of ration which is the basic necessity of people.
He asked the State and the Central Governments to take immediate steps in this regard and also fulfill the promise of enhancement of financial assistance to the Kashmiri Migrants.
