RAJOURI, Apr 30: Congress party here today intensified the election campaign in Rajouri district in support of INDI alliance candidate for Anantnag- Rajouri LS Constituency, Mian Altaf Ahmad.
JKPCC president Vikar Rasool Wani today reached Rajouri to join the public meetings to be addressed at Thanna Mandi apart from few other places.
All senior leaders of Congress including PCC and DCC functionaries and DDC members are already actively involved in the joint campaigns with NC.
JKPCC senior vice president and chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma also held a meeting of party workers at Sunderbani & Nowshera areas and asked them to gear up their political activities in favour of the coalition candidate Mian Altaf.
He said that Congress party has promised to abolish the Agniveer scheme if voted to power and hold regular recruitments.
A handout stated that the PCC president will also interact with workers at Nowshera tomorrow to further intensify the campaign.
