Congress keen to mitigate suffering of people: Pawar

JAMMU, Sept 11:  MLA and president, State Mahila Congress, Indu Pawar, said Congress is keen to mitigate the suffering of people to improve their socio economic condition. That is why the Central Government is implementing programmes like Food Security Bill, Land Acquisition Bill and a number of other welfare schemes.
The Congress MLA was addressing public meeting in Panchayat Akalpur in Marh Block. She exhorted workers to come out openly for strengthening of Congress party at village and Panchayat level as Panchayats are the primary units of local self Government.
Worker should move from village to village for educating public to avail benefits of various welfare schemes introduced at National and State level by Congress party, she asserted.
She further said that Congress party will work as a bridge between various communities and play its time tested role of strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and amity.
