Congress leaders urge high command to take action against indiscipline in party

JAMMU, Apr 7: The entire top brass of the Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir has sought stern action against the acts of indiscipline indulged by few individuals in the recent days.
In a letter to the high command, senior leaders of JKPCC have said that they were aghast over the unprecedented act of gross indiscipline shown by some party activists at AICC office Delhi, in full public & media view, besides some other highly objectionable utterances in the media by few disgruntled elements in the party.
“This kind of highly irresponsible act and anti party activities by few, not only maligns the top leadership but seriously damages the party in J&K, where it is supposed to play a very vital role in the larger interest of nation and democracy, in view of the multiple challenges & senstivities attached to this region,” they said and called for strict and immediate action tonip the evil in the bud.
Requesting the high command to immediately take stern action without any delay to send a clear message against the indiscipline , the party leaders said that otherwise it would be difficult to work by the genuine leadership at all levels.
The signatories to the letter included Tara Chand Working President ( Ex DyCM ), Raman Bhalla Working President (Ex Minister ), Ch Lal Singh (Ex MP), Mula Ram , Balwan Singh , Ravinder Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Haji Rasheed, Ved Mahajan , T S Bajwa, Jahangir Mir, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, Naresh Gupta, S Surinder Singh Channi, Shabir Ahmed Khan, Th Balbir Singh, Arvinder Singh Micky, Iftikhaar Ahmed (MLA), Raman Mattoo, Indu Pawar, Nisar Ahmed Mandoo, Rajnish Sharma, Yash Pal Kundal , Shah Mohd Chaudhary, Nizam U Din Bhat (MLA), Dina Nath Bhagat, Krishan Bhagat, Ashok Dogra , Adv Irfan Hafeez Lone (MLA) and Bhushan Dogra.
