RAJOURI, Dec 6:  Political affiliation to rival parties led to a violent scuffle between uncles and their nephews besides registration of counter FIR against   each other at village Manyal under the jurisdiction of Thanamandi Police Station.
Three brothers sustained injuries in the clash and one of them was referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu in view of critical wounds.
The injured brothers, who were taken to Thanamandi hospital, also entered into verbal dual with the doctors and para-medical staff on duty, who went on flash strike thus forcing the authorities to register another FIR against the trio.
The trouble erupted this morning when three brothers, namely Mushtaq Ahmed, Sarfraz Ahmad and Mohd Bashir entered the house Irshad Malik and  Mumtaz Ahmed, who happen to be their nephews. The three brothers, who are affiliated to Congress party, objected over raising of National Conference flag on the housetop of their nephews. The verbal argument between the two parties soon led to heated exchange of words and then a violent scuffle in which the uncles sustained injuries.
The injured where shifted to Thanamandi hospital where they allegedly misbehaved with the paramedical staff on duty resulting into a high-voltage drama there. Infuriated over alleged misbehaviour of the injured, doctors and para-medical staff on duty went on flash strike. They were pacified only after SDM Thanamandi and SDPO reached the spot and assured action against the trio on a complaint, which was submitted by BMO on the spot.
After the doctors resumed their duties, they referred Mushtaq Ahmed to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of serious injuries upon him.
Even as Police has registered three FIRs into the entire episode, no one was arrested till filing of the report.
