JAMMU, Nov 19: Contesting candidate of Congress from Suchetgarh constituency today said development of the constituency will always receive top priority if he is elected as MLA and appealed the voters to vote for Congress party.
While addressing public meetings at Shere Chak, Talhar, Panjgrain, Mulo Chak, Jungwal, Biaspur Parlah and Khothey Bhagtan, he said present MLA of Suchetgarh constituency has paid no attention towards the development of the constituency.
He said main problems of the people of the constituency have neither been highlighted by the present MLA nor he has raised voice in the Assembly.
Chib said in his tenure as an MLC, he took up many projects like setting up of Sub District Hospital, establishment of primary health centres, development of park at RS Pura, construction of Bana Singh Sports Stadium and opening of ITI in 1987.
He said that it was most unfortunate that Tehsil HQs and Block HQs for Suchetgarh constituency were shifted and set up in village far off from R S Pura at native place of present MLA resulting in more inconvenience to the people.
Chib said he had recommended to Government for establishment of Tehsil HQ and Block HQ at RS Pura.
