KISHTWAR, Sept 22: Senior Congress leader and member Civil Society Kishtwar Shamsher Singh Bhandari has demanded constitution of Shrine Board for holy Machail Mata in Kishtwar district.
In a statement issued here today, he said that it has been the long pending demand of the people and the shrine being in far off area needs constitution of a Shrine Board for its management and development.
He said the number of pilgrims visiting the holy shrine is increasing every year and the government should not take steps for constitution of the Board for its management and development.
He said the Shrine which is in a far off area and only a duly constituted Board through a legislation can be a viable alternative for its overall supervision and development.
