RAMNAGAR, July 6: Senior AAP leader and former minister Harsh Dev Singh has demanded a thorough probe through an Independent Commission of Enquiry (COE) headed by a Judge of the Supreme Court to establish links between BJP and the arrested LeT terrorist Talib Hussain.
“As the appointment letter of LeT Commander Talib Hussain as BJP’s IT Cell President and his photographs with top leadership of the party have gone viral on social-media and elsewhere, the saffron brigade owes an explanation to the people of the country and J&K for its links with anti-national elements and forces inimical to the interests of the nation,” he said, while addressing public meetings in Rang and Draran villages of Ramnagar constituency today.
Harsh Dev Singh sought to know a deadly terrorist owing allegiance to the Pak based terror organization had managed his access to the corridors of power and entered North Block where even the Ministers and MLAs have restricted entry. “Is it an intelligence failure or wilful act of BJP leadership to use terrorists for promotion of their political interests?” he asked raising a volley of questions over the unfettered entry of top terrorist in BJP and state institutions.
Maintaining that security of the nation is supreme, the AAP leader said it is imperative that all political parties, irrespective of their position, power and authority must come clean on the issue of national interests. He said that anti-nationals are not those who are criticizing the policies of BJP but those who are indulging in anti-national acts or are associated with anti India forces or enemy agents in any way.
He further said that reports of links of Udaipur murder accused Riaz Akhtari with BJP have further created apprehensions and doubts in the minds of people which need to be cleared through convincing explanations and rationale rather them suppressive posturing by the BJP demagogues. He said that the issue having assumed alarming propositions, a high level probe through a Supreme Court Judge alone could satisfy the urges of people of the country.
Urging upon the people to vote out the communal, bigoted regime, Mr Singh appealed to the masses to maintain the age old traditions of amity and brotherhood at all costs. He said that AAP had proved its secular credentials and could steer J&K out of the morass of bloodshed, mayhem and ongoing turmoil.
