RAMBAN, Sept 21: District Magistrate Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz today initiated criminal proceedings against the construction company-Ramky Group for not undertaking the four lane work from 187.3 km point to 189.6 km point and maintenance work of existing National Highway in Banihal town as a result of which general public was put to inconvenience.
A notice under Section 133 of CrPc has also been served upon the construction company, an official handout said.
