MENDHAR, Feb 17: Forced construction of a lane from Forest land led to scuffle and registration of FIR against a Headmaster among six persons at Gali Kalaban in Mendhar, here today.
The trouble erupted when some villagers were stopped by Forest Protection Force from cutting trees and developing a road passing through Forest Compartment number 173 at Gali Kalaban in Mendhar Sub-Division. As the villagers refused to stop the work , the Ranger Officer Azmat Hussain registered an FIR in this regard and approach police.
Following the intervention of Police and Revenue authorities, the work was however stopped.
