JAMMU, Sept 3: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor Gurmeet Kour Randhawa started deep drain work with an estimated cost of Rs 2.6 lakh in Sector -A of Sainik Colony, here today.
The deep drain has been in dilapidated condition for a long and the residents were facing a lot of problems due to its dilapidated condition especially during monsoon season as a portion of the drain was washed away during monsoon.
She urged residents to avoid throwing waste, garbage and debris in nallah and drains and also called upon residents to follow the COVID guidelines issued by the Government to prevent pandemic.
