POONCH, Apr 11: The Government Contractors’ Association, Poonch, elected its office bearers in a meeting held here today at Dak Bungalow under the chairmanship of contractor Abdul Aziz.
The contractors of all the four tehsils of the district viz, Haveli, Mandi, Mendhar and Surankote participated in a big way and they unanimously elected Asif Iqbal Mir as their new president.
The other new position holders of the Association are Thakur Kuljeet Singh as general secretary, Khwaja Nazir Ahmad as vice president, Abdul Aziz Malik as joint secretary, Shadi Khan as convenor while Manmohan Singh, Bhopinder Singh, Ch Zaffar, Ch Ashfaq, Javed Iqbal, Wasim Khan, Khalid Khan, Azad Khan, Maqsood Zargar, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman are the executive members.
