KISHTWAR, May 31: A meeting was convened by Contractors Association, Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Mohd Aslam Dev, today.
The meeting stressed upon the State Finance Minister regarding allocation of sufficient funds to be pumped in Government Treasuries Kishtwar, Marwah and Chatroo at an earliest.
Speaking on the occasion, Mashood Mattoo, convener of the association has demanded that the contractors of distict Kishtwar are facing hardships for want of funds and the cheques are pending with the treasuries from March, 2014.
The labourers engaged by the contractors are clamoring hard for release of their wages and association has taken strong note over the deficiency of finance in Government treasuries in district Kishtwar.
The Contractors Association, Kishtwar urged upon to take immediate steps to avoid unrest amongst the contractors.
