DODA, Oct 6: Demanding clearance of liabilities, Contractors Association held protest in front of PWD Office here today.
While speaking, Waseem Naik, member of the Association said that the Government is doing injustice to them by not releasing their pending liabilities.
He appealed to Lieutenant Governor to direct the concerned authorities to clear the liabilities of the contractors as they are facing many problems.
The protesting contractors served one week ultimatum to the Government to clear their liabilities failing which they will intensify their protest.
PWD Executive Engineer Doda Mohammad Ayub Wani told Excelsior that the demand of clearing the liabilities has been forwarded to higher authorities and will be cleared shortly.
