JAMMU, Sept 16: All Jammu and Kashmir 10 Plus 2 Contractual Lecturers Forum has sought a meeting with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to apprise him about the long pending demand of regularization.
“We people want to apprise you (Lt Governor) about our legitimate demand, which was assured to be considered by the former Governors and Lt Governor but never fulfilled,” said Jeevan Kumar, general secretary of the Forum, in a statement issued here today.
Highlighting the plights of Contractual Lecturers, who are without salary for the last one year, the Forum leader demanded a permanent policy for regularization of the Contractual Lecturers, who are highly qualified and have given 10 to 15 years to the School Education Department.
