Contractual Lecturers to vote against NC-Cong candidates

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Apr 6: All J&K Contractual Lecturers (Plus 2) Association has announced to vote against the NC-Congress Coalition Government candidates in Jammu and Kashmir for spoiling career by not regularizing their services.
A unanimous decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of the Association, held here today, under the chairmanship of Arun Bakshi.
The meet lamented that the State Government passed Civil Services Special Provisions Act 2010 for the regularization of all the adhoc and contractual employees after seven years of service but only Contractual Lecturers were debarred from the benefit of regularization. Neither these Lecturers are regularized nor their salaries enhanced while most of them have crossed upper age limit and left with no other option, the Association observed.
The meeting was attended by all the district president, State vice president Asif Bhat, organizing president Anil Shastri, Kirpal Singh, Surinder, Vikas Gupta, Pawan, Pankaj, Pawan Gupta, Darshan and others.
