JAMMU, Mar 17: A cook was found dead today at a hotel in Jammu, where he was working for past quite some time.
“Nand Lal (43) son of Lal Chand, resident of Kishtwar, who was presently working as a cook in Hotel Asia, was found dead this morning on his bed,” a police official said. Quoting the colleagues of the deceased, the official said that Nand Lal went to sleep last night but did not wake up in the morning.
The police official said that the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities while inquest proceedings in this connection was initiated by police post Nehru Market.
