RAJOURI, Dec 15: A constable posted at Thannamandi Police Station was arrested for his involvement in several theft cases.
Identified as Nadeem Ahmed, this police constable has been booked in case FIR No. 189/ 2015. The SDPO Thannamandi Iftikhar Talib said that some thefts took place at Tehsil office, a private school and another Govt office at Thannamandi town recently. The police team constituted for the purpose worked out the case and found involvement of this cop. Some local youth were picked up on the basis of some clues and placed under interrogation. The involvement of this cop was established. Some stolen cash was also recovered besides a camera from the accused person. He has been taken on remand.
