JAMMU, July 4: An Amarnath yatri Omesh Khadiq S/O Raghubir Khadiq R/O Guna, MP left his bag containing Rs 45000 /documents near X Ray Baggage Scanner point at Bhagwati Nagar base camp. Sgct Raj Kumar who was deployed at the point found the bag and informed his supervisory officer.
The pilgrim was located on the basis of documents available in the bag. The bag along with cash / other documents were handed over to the pilgrim. Many Pilgrims have eulogized the act of integrity and honesty displayed by the police official.
The official has been awarded by SSP Security Jammu Shamsheer Hussain with commendation certificate and cash reward so as to boost his morale.
