REASI, Sept 9: An IRP Jawan ended his life by shooting himself under mysterious circumstances at Talwara where he was posted on guard duty.
The deceased was identified as Javed Ali Dar, resident of Tral, Kashmir, a Selection Grade Constable with IRP Ist Battalion in Reasi.
According to Police, Javed Ali apparently committed suicide by shooting himself with his SLR rifle. On being informed, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for legal formalities.
A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Reasi for further investigation.
