JAMMU, Aug 16: A police cop died under mysterious circumstances while performing his official duty at Dogra Chowk, here today.
As per police sources, a cop identified as Surinder Kumar of Dayalachak fell unconscious while performing duty at Dogra Chowk.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After conducting autopsy, the body has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Nowabad police have taken cognizance in this regard.
