JAMMU, Sept 19: A police constable posted at NHPC Kishtwar received bullet injury in accidental firing from his colleague rifle.
As per police sources, a police cop of IRP 13th Battalion posted at NHPC Kishtwar namely Tilak Raj (35), son of Krishan Lal of Saror, Kishtwar received bullet injury in his right shoulder during accidental firing from his colleague rifle yesterday.
The profusely bleeding cop was rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) today, where his condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard and investigation started.
