KATRA, May 13: A Policeman was injured when his Scorpio vehicle rolled down into deep gorge on Katra -Reasi road near Kadmal, here this morning.
The injured cop was identified as Kapil Manhas, son of Tarsem Manhas of Keran, Jammu, presently posted at DPL Reasi. He sustained injuries in the accident and was shifted to CHC Katra for treatment. His condition was stated to be stable.
The accident took place near Shani temple, Kadmal Katra, when the Scorpio vehicle, bearing registration number JK02BU -3070, was on way towards Reasi from Jammu. The cop, who was driving the vehicle and was alone, lost control over the steering while negotiating a curve. The vehicle skidded off the road and slipped into deep gorge.
