SAMBA, Jan 31: A police personnel was knocked to death by an unidentified vehicle here today.
Havildar Ajay Sharad of Kathua, who was posted in DPO Samba, was waiting for a bus along the side of Jammu-Pathankot Highway near DC Office in Samba when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
He was immediately taken to District Hospital Samba, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Samba and started further investigation into the matter.
