JAMMU, Feb 15: An ASI was suspended after his video surfaced on social media wherein he could be seen drinking liquor with his colleagues on the rooftop of a police post in Arnia area here.
Reham Din, incharge Border Police Post (BPP) Allah in Arnia, was suspended by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna on Wednesday after one Suresh Pal Saini found the police officer in inebriated condition and complained with the senior police officers about the indiscipline of the incharge BPP Allah.
A decision to suspend the police officer was taken only after conducting his medical examination wherein it was validated that he was actually drunk on the duty.
