DAVANAGERE, Aug 24: A police constable has been suspended after liking and sharing a pro-Pakistan post on social media.
According to police, the accused identified as Sanaulla, a police driver in Basava Nagar station in the city, liked the Facebook page ‘Power of Pakistan’ and shared a linked to a WhatsApp group ‘police batch 2008.’
He was suspended by the district Superintendent of Police on Monday.
Reportedly, the policeman was involved in a similar incident and he was suspended in 2014. (UNI)
