Copper eases on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Dec 25: Copper prices declined by Rs 2 per kg on the non-ferrous metal market today due to reduced offtake by industrial units.
However, other metals held steady in limited deals.
Traders said reduced industrial offtake mainly helped copper prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 411 per kg.
The following are metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 113-117, nickel plate (4×4) 1,045-1,048, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 411, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 141, lead imported 139, aluminium ingots 128, sheet cutting 129, aluminium wire scrap 133 and aluminium utensils scrap 128. (PTI)
